"I'm all growed up!" A year has just flown by since Stryper came home and he's getting along with Ashes fine. It's been great having him alongside me while I hamered out the final touches of A Call To Action.  Speaking of which is all finished and can be found at CD Baby
.  Go ahead and check it out. Also I'm sure you've noticed the change in the website to celebrate the release of the new CD. Feel free to give the new tracks a listen and hope you enjoy.

Hey everyone. I know it's been a long time since the last post so I thought an update of things to come was well overdue.  Dusty's passing was sad for me but as some of you already know I ran into this little guy on the picture above (He's not so little anymore).  His name's Stryper and he's been keeping me company as I worked on the new CD.  Speaking of which has all but the mixdown completed. I know it has been a while but there's a light at the end of the tunnel :). As of yet the album still doesn't have a name but this is the song list as of now:

I The Traveler

1.  Inside Out

2.  Blue

3. The Visitor

4. Where Do We Go From Here

5.  I Pledge

II The Vision

6.  Falling

7.  Boss of Me

8.  Taken

9.   True Lies (The Return)

10.  Peace of Mind

III The Mission

11. Sight Unseen

12. Relativity

13. On My Own

The song order may vary but this is it for the most part.  There is a bit of a harder edge to this CD but has its melodic moments as well.  As for Dusty's page, It's still here. If anyone would like a place to remember a lost pal feel free to send me a picture and a few words to go with it.  Also the gallery will be updated soon with new pics - stay tuned :)

Some sad news to share regarding Dusty.  On the weekend of August 1st he had fallen ill due to complications with his heart.  It's taken me a while to update this because anyone who has had a much beloved pet knows how hard it is to deal with their loss.  Pets provide wonderful company and brighten the lives of those who let them into their lives and in their hearts.  Dusty has been nothing short of a wonderful companion and friend.  For 8 years he was by my side and when he
breathed his last breath I felt so alone. One thing I have learned from this experience is this: If you don't think other cats grieve over the passing of their feline companions, think again. Ashes has not been quite the same as Dusty was the only friend she's known most of her life.  She still makes her rounds throughout the house looking for him, but can't find him. All she knows is that he's gone and she doesn't know why, and it's not like anyone can actually tell her. It's been difficult to come to terms with his passing but there is something else I'm beginning to realize. That is that he is more with me now more than ever and he'll always have a special place in my heart that no one else can take up.   Still I miss him. So long my friend.

Happy New Year everyone.  Dave here letting everyone know what a great time we had at Freskos in Avon, CT.  WTIC's Jim Vicevich was there along with the chatroom gang to listen to a great performer he introduced us to named Carrie Johnson.  The band was excellent and it was a pleasure meeting Jim and the rest of the chatters for the first time.  I've posted a few pictures up in the gallery of the band and some of the great people I've met - and of course some of the food.  If you're in the Greater Hartford CT area and would like to talk about what's on your mind, you can tune in to WTIC from 9:00am to 12:00pm, listen to Jim Vicevich and go to WTIC.com. There you'll find a link to the chatroom and a live cam of the show. I'll also be listening in and chatting there on occasion.

I know, I know.  It's been a while since my last update.  Anyway, Dave's been up to a whole lot of things and I felt it's time I fill you in on a few of them.  First, a cool piece of gear that has really helped in speeding things along with the recording of the next CD.  And, yup.  Another CD.  Although It will be some time before it's actually released we'll try to fill you in on some of the details from time to time.  So I digest (digress?)...Dave's decided to go electronic on a large part of the percussion department.  The reason for this:  Alien Sun was lots of fun but proved to be extremely time consuming and he still felt there was much more he wanted to do that seemed to call for several engineers, a million dollar recording studio, 1000 mics, on and on and on.  Dave and I agreed that that the e-drum solution would fit the bill best.  No mics, less set-up time and you the fans can expect a new CD sooner.  But for those of you concerned that the quality of the music might suffer, fear not.  This next CD promises to be more compelling, energetic and most of all....musical.

Dave and I are starting to add links to sites of some really great performers.  It just boggles the mind how much wonderful talent there is out there and we're very glad we've met them on myspacemusic.  There's more to come so check them out and show your support :)

Site should be just about ready, and as you might guess there are always changes here and there and new things to look out for, so take a stroll, buy a CD and tell everyone you know about it.

How you knew this site existed we may never know, but now that you're here you've probably noticed a few oddball things.  Right now we're in the process of hammering out a few kinks before making the site more widely known.   However, feel free to tell anyone else about it.  It may not be ready just yet but it's almost there, so keep checking back.  Thanks :)

Go ahead and check it out. Also I'm sure you've noticed the change in the website to celebrate the release of the new CD. Feel free to give the new tracks a listen and hope you enjoy.
